What do you know about Nirvana?

Greeting, Kalonline Fellows,
I am Jun Bae, Inixsoft general manager of game business department and also in charge of managing Kalonline Game Masters Team.
I have been always thankful to you, the Kalonline users.

First of all, I have to say two things that Inixsoft have appreciated you since Kalonline had launched its global service and Inixsoft also loves Kalonline. :D

Last Monday, August 25th, Inixsoft noticed you the new development plan, Nirvana System.
Actually, right after the notice, I was monitoring user’s reaction and once thought that “why don’t I just communicate with you?” and now opened this blog so we can talk to each other. Even though my English is not so good, I will try my best. :D

The purpose of this blog is to help Kalonline users to understand better about the Nirvana System and also, gather your opinion and suggestion. I promise that I will put all my best efforts to establish future business policy, development plan or update plan based on your suggestion.

Before we begin, let me tell you the policy of this blog.
First, this blog will be opened for next 4 weeks.
I will ask once or twice a week about certain subject and you can reply in same page.

Second, even though I promise you that I will put my best efforts to apply your opinion in kalonline development plan and business policy of Inixsoft, I cannot commit you that all your suggestions and advice will be applied. However, I will gather your opinions as much as I can during next 4 weeks and will try my best until your requirements are satisfied.

Third, this blog is not to submit your CS.
Please submit your CS in Kalonline website, http://www.kalonline.com. Even if I accept you CS here, it won’t be any quicker or easier. We have our GMs, the expert on CS.

Last, I will write every single words and letters with full respect and goodwill to you in this blog. In case you feel you haven’t treated with any respect and manner, that’s not what I intended to but only problem of my short English. Of course I will try not this thing happen but in case you feel like that, please understand me.

Ok, then. Let’s talk about this week’s subject.

    I'm A player from server Hanin.

    Server is quite pleased to hear a big update is coming.
    My questions about Nirvana are.
    -Will this Balance the PVP ? In what ways ?
    -Will you need skillpoints ? Or will it be something like Mystery Skill ?
    -Will the mounting system ro run faster trough map be introduced with Nirvana ? Or will it be for lower lvl's also something?
    -At what lvl will Nirvana be introduced? I hope it will start from lvl 80+, if u start at level 85-90+ it will be a good bonus for a select group of people.
    -Also there was a mention of mixing weapons before.
    if u add g75+ weapons also reconsider changing g60 armor and g65 armor its more expensive to make g65 then to wait for the real thing + also the same for weapons g60 + g70

    I hope u understand all well and hope for a ur reaction soon.

    1. Dear Lovefeever,
      - The main purpose of this Nirvana is to adjust character balance. It is not only applied to PVP but also PVE.
      That's why this update would take quiet a time to be develop because it needs soooooo many test.
      However, it is still on planning stage and only thing I can say is that it can be adjusted by new skills.
      - Regarding the requirement for nirvana, I cannot say what you need to enter, it is not decided yet. But it will be seasonable level.
      - Inixsoft is not considering mounting system right now. I understand that mounting system was listed on previous development plan and not updated. Even though we have tried to develop mounting system, we found so many errors on it. Thus, we decided not to apply mounting system on server. Maybe we can apply it later on, after the Nirvana system updates.
      - About the required level, it is not fixed but the development team is thinking around 95 for korean server. However, I think global server will be lower than that because there aren't much high level players in global like Korean.
      - Your suggestion of weapon is submitted. :D

    I would like you to check this document made by kalonline players from both servers since GM team ignoring it and I think so many simple things could make this game alive again :) About nirvana - its nice but still we need bigger changes which are more important also :) Hope you check it and tell us what you think about it!

    This blogspot is a really nice idea! Thanks for doing this, I think many players appreciate this!
    My questions/suggestions are :
    - What level will this system be introduced? I hope it will be 80+, because there arent much 85+/90+ players and I think its better to let some more players enjoying this system instead of only a few high levels(will make things more fair).
    - Will this system have some PvP balance?
    - Is it allready known what items players will need for this Nirvana system?

      Regarding your questions,
      - The required level for nirvana is not fixed but the development team is considering 95 for korean server.However, there are too many over 90 level players in Korean server and I think global server's required level would be lower than that.
      - This system updates' main purpose is to re-adjust the character balance, not only for PVP but also PVE.
      - The required item, points or whatever is not decided.

  5. Hello, first of all I'd like to give you a big up for opening to the Kal community.

    I also have some questions about Nirvana system:

    1. Whatwould be the level limit of transfering a character into Nirvana?
    2. What requierements will a player have to meet to use the system? (e.g. what items will we have to collect, what mobs to kill etc.)
    3. The new animal transformation system, in the development plan you mentioned that the existing ancient animals will be exchangeable to the grade 1 new ones. What minimal grade of animal can be exchanged, and if there's any bonus for transforming a higher grade animal?
    4. The new enchanting system for Nirvana characters. What bonuses are planned? What are the requierements?
    5. The new Boss, The Devah. Is it going to be a scheduled spawning monster such as masters in the Tower of Priest or more like Deadly Sand or Cheios and Dunamic, where you need a certain ammount of people and items to summon the monster?
    6. The website says that the new system can be leveled up, how is the process going to look like and what are the benefits?

      and first of all, I'd like to give you a big up for loving Kalonline :D
      However, I am afraid that there are limitation that I can expose. It's like telling the whole story about a movie to a person who haven't watched it yet.

      Only thing I can say it that the required level for nirvana is not fixed but the development team is considering 95 for korean server.However, there are too many over 90 level players in Korean server and I think global server's required level would be lower than that.
      And requirements for Nirvana, Jin-transformation, New-Enchanting system and New Boss you have mentioned is not decided or I can't expose yet. I am pretty sure you don't want to watch a movie that you know whole story, right? :D Please understand my situation here.

    Or at LEAST give the skill Life absortion the ability to kill. (now it leaves a target at 1hp)

      I will review your request.
      But if the life absortion skill leaves 1 hp, I think it is because it's intended.
      For example, the poisoned arrow for other characters are same, leaves 1 hp.
      The whole employees of Inixsoft knows that the character balance should be re-adjusted and that is the main reason why we started this Nirvana. I hope the Nirvana satisfy you. :D

  7. Why did you remove so many monsters on the dungeon Abandoned grave, and the doggebi forrest and devil beach.
    There are no monsters anymore lol.

    Maybe advertise a bit for kalonline so there will be more people.
    Or is there not enough kalcash income for this?

      Ok, it was just a joke.
      Go back to the point,
      Kalonline is very old game. It is developed and serviced for last 10 years.
      During last one decade, we have built new contents and again and again.
      But the problem is that, the main server has limit to hold contents which includes number of users, but also, number of monsters. As long as the game server has limited container, as much as we update new contents, we need to subtract old contents. That is why there aren't much monsters in such places not popular among users. We are trying to improve this condition but changing the fundamental is not that easy. Anyway, we will do our best.

      About the advertisement, can you please advise us how we can advertise? In which media, and how?
      It will be thankful if you give us suggestion about our marketing.

  9. Hello! I got one question, thou not certainly about Nirvana system first. Are you planning making UG thief subclass viable in PVE game mode? Right now its totally inferior to all other classes in leveling speed. Can only be leveled by other classes.
    As for Nirvana:
    - the ultimate weapons gonna be totally new things, or just other versions of already existning ones ? (so stat wise would be crafted<regular<ultimate)
    - by new mixes you mean new mixing stones and effects? how about fixing/balancing already exising ones? (lightning/ice are useless, mystery with current dmg numbers is really weak, demons blood isnt too good either. most players just use strength or paralyze)
    - the new transformation update mean totally new animals? or further upgrades of currently existing ones?
    - are the shining gold / marbles gonna be of any use with nirvana system?

    PS. great concept arts, i love the sword and armor on that female character :)

      We fully recognize the problem of UG Thief in PVE and I understand what you mean.
      As I mentioned on previous reply, re-adjusting the character balance is the main purpose of this Nirvana System.
      I hope Nirvana can satisfy all characters in balancing.
      - The ultimate weapons is going to be totally new thing.
      - Regarding the "fixing and balancing the existing ones", I am trying to be honest to you and I am not sure if I should tell you this or not. But as the purpose of this blog, let me tell you frankly.
      When Kalonline launched for the first time about 10 years ago, the whole system and balance was very nice and not much things to fix. However, it has been one decade, and there was so many updates so far and now we can see so many unbalanced system to be fix and adjust.
      Actually, "fixing and balancing the existing ones" is what we have tried for last few years. But what we realize is "fixing and balancing" always accompanied with side effects and unfortunately, many of the side effects causes other problem of the system. Because of this, there were so many updates that we have applied on Korean server but didn't updated on global one or vice versa.
      Now we changed our strategy, building a new system rather than fixing existing one. I know it is not going to relieve you from existing problems in current level. However I believe at least you can have your vision what you can become after enter the nirvana and this way is better than fixing the existing problems as now which have not much probability of success.
      After the update of Nirvana system, our plan is to expedite all users to enter the nirvana. This way, I believe we can "fix" the current existing issues.
      Hope this reply satisfy you. :D

    2. Thank you for answer! I also forgot to add 1 suggestion to my initial post. For a while now, we're seeing QoL updates, such as bank or messages menu etc. I think 1 more thing that most of player would welcome, would be cooldown timer. Just simple countdown in seconds over skill icon like many other games got would make our life much easier. Please consider it, i dont think it would be very hard to implement.
      About UG problem it conerns only PVE game mode. We cannot keep up with leveling speed with other classes. We need much more effort to make less exp than others get just by using their aoe skill safely or even setting macro and going afk. In PVP thou, i would say Spin Attack skill need some nerf. Dealing 20k dmg with 15sec cooldown is too strong. Shadow Slash is also very strong, but it got 90sec cooldown and long casting time, so not much nerf is needed there i think. Maybe 10-15% lower damage. Spin in pvp should get 30-50% dmg nerf (in crits at least), but also damage increase in PVE.

      I thought the gauge on the skill icon would enough.
      I will check and, if possible, I will implement it.
      Telling you frankly, there are much more complaints from UGs in Korean servers than global ones.
      I know the whole story of UGs and UG need some aoe skills to speed up leveling.
      Please wait until Nirvana System implemented. Current UG will be transformed to totally different characters. :D

    I am HappyTeddyBear and i currently play Hanin server.

    Nice that the kalonline development team started doing things again its greatly needed , but i think it might be better to fix the current bugs and exploits first before u try adding new stuff to a broken system.

    Although i think the Inix currently only looks what happens at the Korean server , but the way kal is being played is way different on the International servers compared to how the Koreans play.
    So please take a look at international servers also because what might work at the Korean server might be totally shit at the international.

      It is not very happy to read your comments and it makes me sad.
      Actually, the korean users are saying same but in opposite way that "Inixsoft abandoned us and only cares the revenue from global server" :D
      However, I swear to the god IT IS NOT TRUE.
      I still remember how I and other employees suffered when we developed Kalonline and how we felt when we first launched Kalonline Server to the world. How can we not look at global server? That's why I wrote on the post that "Inixsoft also loves Kalonline".
      However, I have to admit that we have some barriers to understand global server. Maybe it is because of language, culture, customer behavior, or others.

      PLEASE SPEAK TO US.
      We want to know you and we need to.
      How you play, what you do, what you really want.. speak to us.
      If there's a online forum for Kalonline users, please invite us.

    That is a playerproject with some nice ideas. Nirvana system sounds like something nice for lvl 90+ players but we got many players below that already loosing fun.
    Also the player versus player is quite boring nowadays.
    Still we are exciting about nirvana.

      However, it is the contents that everyone can enjoy because it aimed high level.
      Maybe many of users cannot enjoy it right now but can enjoy later on.

    Thank you so much for communicating with players. We greatly appreciate this new blog - please ignore unkind comments, we welcome any new positive changes no matter how small.

    My questions:
    1. What level will Nirvana system be available from? 90+ is too high. We ask that you make the level requirement preferably 80 or 85, as 90 is currently inaccessible for many players. (unless you make new areas).
    2. Will existing 2nd/3rd Job Change be balanced? At the moment some job are very over powered or underpowered. UG needs nerfing while IG and GoB needs buffing.
    3. Finally, will we see this update in 2014, or 2015?

      Here is the answer for your questions;
      1. As I replied previous comments, the required level for nirvana will be lower than 95. We are analyzing each level segments and considering many other things. I can see there are many people have same opinion with you and I will consider it too.
      2. Actually, we are considering only on Nirvana system by now. I have replied to previous comments about "fixing and balancing the existing ones" and hope this will satisfy you. By the way, you mean UG need nerfing and IG, GoB need buffing in PVP or PVE? I thought UG is not quiet strong character.
      3. We are aiming to update in this year but I cannot be commit the schedule. But I really want it to be updated soon as much as you want it.

    2. UG is an strong char on killing monsters 1 by 1 but he dodnt have an good AOE skill - so 1 of the "fix" should be and AOE skill for UG and decrease damage from spin /dok . Archer need some big push up - for example AR damage should be increase by 30-50 % in PVE, and 10-30 % in PVP, for IG i think combunation VA+ AE in PVE is good but he need an increase of damage in PVP.

  14. what will be the level for 4th job ? i hope it be 80 or 85 because 90 is very hard for players
    and the items that need for 4th job dont be very hard to get so players dont fight each other in game to get it

    First of all thank you for this blog!
    I also have some suggestions for you!
    1: Decrease Unearthly Ghosts Spin Attck in pvp by 50%. It's to much!
    2: Decrease Unearthly Ghosts Shadow Slash in pvp by 25-50%
    3: Unearthly Ghosts Dance of killing is also to high in pvp.
    4: Darkshadow needs Mana Circulation.
    5: Dark Shadows cooldowns on skills are to high, compared with other classes.
    6: Raise God of bows Focus shot and Mysterious arrow skill by +150% against monsters and +50% in pvp (these skills are underpowered)
    7: Raise God Of Swords Powerful Upwardslash skill by 100% against monsters.
    8: Give Hermits the ability to hit higher Monsters with level 50+ single skills (Hail, Thunder and those 2 fire skills, I vorgot their names)
    9: Decrease General in pvp!! No chance to win against a general level 75+.
    10: Change g31 Animal skills cooldown from 30 min to 10 min, thats enough.
    11: Open the 2 missing vod parts.
    12: Remove stunning monsters in d6.
    13: Create a fair way for Bosskill drops like Doggebie lord horn, master essences or emogi scale! Some people have 100% of these boss monster kill drops and push up their prices. Seriously... 120 Million geons for a doggebie lord horn is 10x to much!
    14: Stop macro users like on emok bears they play 24h afk and become 90++..
    15: Make a general balance for all character (6 can hit on emok 7th can heal hermit is useless?? See at 8:)
    16: Change Master elements in tower of priest. The current system supports only the highest character and small players got no chance.
    17: Stop spamm bots who sell geons in towns.. They just bother!
    18: use empty areas in game (there are so many empty places where you could do monsters.
    19: update medicine rewards from wooden boxes/ small reward packs/ droped on emok and level up presents. Wooden box gives 1 medium medicine... Thats nothing, upgrade to 100. Emok should drop 500 small rewards 1000 instead of 100 and level up presents x100 (15 Medicines are used after 2 monster.. great..)
    20: Add more normal quest for level 1-69
    21: Add Daily and repeat quests (like on vod) for level 1-69 with nice item and exp rewards. Doing quests is fun!
    22: Add level 70+++ monster which can be killed without party.

    Ok enough for now.

    First of all I'd like to thank you and congratz for this awesome idea in communicating with KalComminuty in open way not only via c/s center.
    Second is for players. You are just silly with your some opinions and ideas. Nirvana for 80+ ? When haveu played last time in Kal? Don't you know the already existing ways of leveling? 80 lvl is pretty easy to do and Nirvana is an ULTIMATE system so can't be used by leeched characters on lvl 80. Level 90 is too hard to do yet so the best level for Nirvana is already level 85. (Remember, it's an ULTIMATE system).
    I am pretty sure it will be much easier to do 80+ and 85+ with new Tower of Devah floors and boss. Same as it was with Tower of Priest for levels 60-80. (able to kill bosses not only leeching)

    The new Tower of Devah boss... It just CAN'T be like Masters in ToP/Queen/Thousand Year Old Emoogie (owned by few teams on server who make monopoly on drops from them). Can u imagine that with ToD boss? 3-5 teams who can enter and kill that boss and making radiculous money from g75/g80 drops? It's just silly.
    The best way of that boss is like Mautareta boss. Platoon created with max 2-3 parties can enter and kill it. Why that, not like ToP f10 boss? I am pretty sure you all know Dunamic/Cheison boss kill looks like... 120 ppl can enter and 20-30 killing it, rest are leechers. Totally sensless to ToD boss.
    It's more fun when small platoon is required for that kill. Cooperating with all classes. This is the point of boss kills.
    I'm just worry about requirements of entering for ToD boss ^^ Some people can make monopoly on marbles/shining golds when it will required to enter for ToD boss ^^ Mautareta requirements are fair enough for all players to get and enter for boss kill.

    Updating/Adding new areas...
    It's very important thing to keep game alife and more joyfull for all players.
    It would be a cool thing to add 'solo mobs'. What do I mean... Add mobs for lvl 70+/80+ which can be killed 1 by 1 but ...
    Mobs should spawn in small areas splitted with safe zones. 1-2 mobs in specific area so it can't lured and killed with AoE skills (GoS party). Mobs should have a lot of hp and low damage, so killing it won't take 1k meds to kill it. I am level 85 general. With exp stone+PP+EH (4-5 ppl in exp area) I'm getting 0,4-0,7% per lure, it means every 3,5/5,5 mins (Bless/PD cooldown).
    If I get 0,3-0,4% per single mob (no exp stone, no pp, no EH) every ... 3-4 mins (time required to kill that mob by gen lvl 85 [g70 imp/myst 1h]) I would play there very often when can find team/party for playing together. It's a pretty cool alternative for a lot of players who can't find party for hours. Specialy good way of leveling for UGs (usless in exp party).

    @Jan Hitler point 9 "Decrease generals in pvp!..." Generals in pvp are fair enough. If you compare same lvl and same stuffed general with any other class... I'm pretty sure general can't win as easy as you have said.
    Some other your ideas are pretty cool. Specialy those about 2nd job skills. Most of them are usless. (GoB don't use FS anymore, MA sometimes when killing boss/?playing solo? xD, IG is ok ... use most of its skills, GoS same [PUS/HS/Zerk] used in normal gameplay, MA has raised SD skill so can easy kill mobs with it, Ascetic/Hermit ... everybody knows ^^, Thieves uses their 2nd job skills everyday, Gen ... PWW is slow and not that cool. LS (30+ lvl skill) quite good on PvE, isn't balanced for high lvls e.g. lvl 85 gen hit UG or DS lvl 91 with normal hits by avg 400-500+ dmg when LS hits with ~90 dmg xD Had PvP with 91 so I know it in my own.)
    Generals should have raised dmg in PvE comparing with other classes but ... well ... hmm ... xD Yeah, it should have but not much. 10-20% max with normal attacks.

    At last there's a hope in Nirvana system ^^ It may bring some cool balance =)

      General IS overpowered in PVP!
      Simple example: Shields offensiv + pob + shield attack + Pww and Im dead (12k health gone)
      IF IAM LUCKYI can cause dmg to the gen but mostly it like stun dmg dmg dmg dmg stun dmg dmg dmg dead.
      Say what ever u want, but there is no fkin ballance!

  18. Hello, thank you for this blog, it is nice to see someone communicating with us. I have a question about leveling Unearthly Ghost. It is the most difficult character to level. All others have high area damage skills and are needed / not speaking about generals or MAs, those are needed all the time. So:

    1. Will there be improvement for Unearthly Ghosts to start exping when Nirvana will be introduced? At the moment it is very difficuilt to play for it and game play basically stops at 82...
    2. Do not pay attention to silly comments asking to reduce Unearthly Ghost skills. Yes, damage is high, but that is why Unearthly Ghost has been created for - to deal huge amount of damage to single target.
    3. Hopefully Nirvana will be available from 80 level. Would be the best option I guess. And if there will be job change items or something simillar as I imagine, please do not make main item from new boss, since it will be ruled again by highest chars in game and of course it will be fly high prices.. Maybe a system that different classes could register and get picked up randomly for boss kill...

      I can not say about the details of the Nirvana System since it still planning stage and I am not allowed to give you detailed information and, I don't want to spoil this project. :D
      However, I will give you information what I can.
      1. Even though global UG user's are not complaining as much as Korean UG users, I fully recognize the problem of UG. If what "balance" means only limited on PVP, UG is quiet good. However, UG has most serious problem on the leveling. Yes, whole company fully recognize the issue of the UG. And to be honest, the key trigger of this Nirvana development plan was this UG's issue. All I can say to you is that you can expect about this Nirvana system.
      2. But, you know, the whole idea of this blog is to communicate with users, isn't it? How can I not pay attention? There are some characters weaker than UG.
      3. I will think about it but I cannot guarantee. :D

    First of all I want to express my appreciation for your effort of communicating with us Players (to be honest this is the biggest advance players could witness about all the years: a GM really communicating with us *smile*).
    Since you opened this week’s topic about the upcoming Nirvana System, here are my questions and suggestions:
    Questions:
    1) What level is required to transfer a character into Nirvana System?
    2) What quests does a character have to accomplish in order to reach Nirvana System?
    3) Description of Nirvana characters tell about a “lethal move”. Will this be another “onehit skill”?
    4) The description also tells about “Treasures of Ancient Dynasty”. If this is meant to be a new armor/weapon class, what grade will it be?
    Suggestions regarding the questions:
    1) Though the next logic step for a „job change“ would be lvl90, it is only players using bots and mouse macros that reached lvl90 and above. So it would just support them and increase the gap between them and “normal” players. Considering this, it would be wise to make Nirvana System available for players with lvl80/lvl85.
    2) Please don’t make the quests and items like the ones a player needs for his 3rd job change. The reason is simple: Emoogi Scale, Horn of Doggebi Lord is mostly collected by the same players and sold to others for exorbitant prices. A normal player has little chance to achieve the job change by “himself”. It would be wise to design all the tasks and quests for Nirvana System in a way that the “average” player has a chance to gain it by himself.
    3) Considering the fact that characters of the 3rd job already are of supreme power in PvP, it would be not to bring Nirvana skills that are even stronger. It would destroy what is left of the balance (and that is not much, since PvP is all about lvl differences and not about stats and abilities).
    4) If this will be armor of grades like G75 and G80, and if this will be weapons of grades like G80 and G85, I strongly recommend that you drastically increase the drop rates of G70 and G75 weapons and likewise G65 and G70 armor. Because most of the players still struggle to gain G70 and G75 armor and weapons (simply because the drop rates are not high enough) and artificial weapons and armor are not realy an alternative (weaker and still hard to gain because of the long time for mining).
    So far, thank you again for giving us the opportunity to speak out our worries and suggestions!

      So, here's my answers;
      1. Level is not decided but will be lower than 95.
      2. Quest.. It is not existing yet. So I can't answer this question. Sorry. But this will be in totally different way than existing 2nd and 3rd job change.
      3. Lethal Move, it is the new skills for players who entered Nirvana. It will be different among which character you are. The lethal moves of comander and of UG is not going to be same.
      4. One of the main problem of current system is the weapon grade is not high enough for high leveled characters. So introducing new weapons and armor is essential for Nirvana. It will be high enough for characters in Nirvana.

      and regarding your suggestions,
      1. Let me check if your suggestion is valid please. The required level for Nirvana is not decided yet but I can tell you one thing. Inixsoft doesn't want to increase gap between high leveled and low leveled characters.
      2. But, if the requirement for Nirvana is easy, then don't you think the gap between Nirvana and normal players would increase?
      3. I will consider your opinion. Thank you. :D

    I play now very long Kalonline. I think are 12 Years now , with 4 years Break.
    I love this Game realy, but u have many Problems here. I dont Know why u dont fixed the old Problems before u start a new Area with new Problems.( i think is coming new Problems….Its normaly)
    First to me : i told i play long times…Now 12 Years with Break. In the first 8 years i used ~36 000 Euro
    But i quit than 4,5 Years ago. Why ?
    U dont fixed ure Problems with Hacker, Scammer, LvL Bots and ure own Problems.
    I started now 4 month ago again. But i see now u have the same old Problem.
    In this 4 Month i used again 3300 Euro and i think i quit maybe again if u not fixed ure Problems.
    Here now a bit Problems thats i see in this Game:
    To 1. No GM is online .
    If i see a Lvl Bot ( Geon Farmer) in the Dungeen 1 than i write to CS. Problem is i cant see the Ppl thats are in the D1 use the Lvl Bot. He is in the air or in the wall or underground.
    If coming the GM online, is the lvl Bot away from the Dungeen 1.
    If i have a Problem, I must very long waiting for a answer.
    And the Answer is alltimest he same. Bla Bla Bla.
    To 2. Maximalprice by Items:
    Please create a account. And make them lvl 70. Give them only the Statspoints and Skills from a Normaly Gamer ( not from a GM) than try to kill Doggebie Lord as Single not in Party.) U cant.

    U see i must buy the Item „ Doggebie Lord Horn“ for my 3.JC.

      Yes.. it's been issued. Why does it happen? It shouldn't be that expensive in the game.
      It is been made by all users, and our principle is that we don't control or engage only minimal level in such contents created by users. However, Since it will be an entry barriers for newbies, we should do something about it. I will take this issue to next meeting with developers.
      3. Same icons in different items.
      hew.. Because of that I had big argument with one of my colleagues few days ago.
      Anyway, it will be patched tomorrow. Sorry for your inconvenience. But as I wrote on the post, this blog is not for CS and I am afraid that I can't do anything about your request. You should talk to our GMs.
      4.and 5. Balance.(PVP and Leveling)
      As I mentioned on previous comments, the Key point of this Nirvana is re-adjusting the balance in PVP and Leveling. I hope it will be successfully updated.

    5. Hey Mr Jun Bae,

      On global servers its easy to explain why some items are expensive for JC(point 2.).
      Players who leveled really high by macro's in shiny partys(almost all 87+ players), are so high that they can take any boss(doggebi lord etc...) without sharing it with others. Therefor they keep items in storage and make the prices for Doggebi Lord Horns(and many more) as high as they want. This same happens with all the Master Element Bosses and the Emok Boss. There are always the same fixed groups of generals taking these bosses so the rest of the server must buy it from them for insanely high prices. Maybe it's better to make a system like Mautareta for every boss, or like a week cooldown for every player who has killed a boss(like in the game world of warcraft).
      This issue has been going on for years and in my eyes it is kinda unfair that players who use macro's to level control the game. I hope you guys can look into it one time. Thanks for your continueing effort to listen to your players <3!

    Thank you so much for communicating with players. Now I see huge progress in the fact that someone wants to bring off this game. I hope you won't make a few updates and the rest mess and swamp won't be continued. If you think in this way, you will waste time. Kalonline needs a lot of patches, you should start at the beginning.
    Firstly I want to show you my perspective. I am a person who don't spend a lot of time in game, I play always between 2-6 hours and I treat the game like hobby. Look, we start the game and everything is ok until to prepare quests to job change on 50 level. We aren't ready for that! Between 1-40 level we don't have money to get G42 set. We are running in the forest with Ghost, Devils, Masks only max with G32 set. We don't have any chance to drop G42 set. What do I want to say? You should use Demon Commander/Water Commander to create mini bosses who allow get G42 set. I think that everything until 40 level is good, except G42 set.
    Level 40 - 50. We are in the forest again, we make quest to change job at 50 level. Why are we drop G42 parts now? It's horrible! We need that ten levels ago! Not now! All monsters in forest (Mask, Doggebie) should give us G46 parts. I saw a tendency to being late with items, which we needed earlier. So one way is only shopping. Ok, somebody can said that we have D1. Ok, but bots are always plaing there. Almost half rooms are occupied by bots and nobody block them.
    Level 50-60. Here is a huge problem. If we are playing themselves, we don't have any change to rise with level - only party with firends or often - leach party for money. Playing with friends are very fun but a lot of people in Kalonline have 70/80+ level so new players don't have chance to play. Level 50-60 - in this moment we should wear G50-G55-G60. One question: Where can I find those items? I show you something for your example: When I reach 60 level I don't have before valuable drops, which could help me to buy G50-G55-G60 parts. All money goes for medicine and it's not a joke - for G46 set, clean! If I want to have a chance in this game I must buy Geon for real money. Such is not the aim of the game. Sometimes I feel that Inixgame reduce drop what have an influence on the price in game so Inixgame is selling money on Ebay.
    3rd change job isn't available for player like me. 3rd job is high expensive and needs a lot of time. The items which we need like a Monster Arm, Lord Horn are too expensive and on 70 level I don't have a chance to kill bosses. It discourages. So how can I be happy with Nirvana System if i can't get 3rd job?
    My proposition is that a few GM's should play in Kalonline like a normal player without friends - themselves, without help. You will be a normal person who hear something about Kalonline and want to try this game. Then you will probably know what does playing in this game mean. Rise drop, give change to new players. Dear Jun Bae, please try this game!
    Finally. If you focused on updates for old players, you will make mistake. You should care about new players and encourage them for back to the game. Where is a time when the Fort City was full? Now there are only a few players who are playing with sentiment. Give a chance for new players to enjoy with new updates. Promote this game! You need a new players to rise again.

      What I understood is two thing. 1. Job Changing is too difficult and people are loosing fun. 2. Right Weapons and armors are not provided along the right level of users. Did I understand right? (sorry for my terrible English. :-( )
      If it's correct, I totally agree with you. The requirements for job changing seems like too difficult. I will investigate why this happen in global server and seek to solve this problem.
      And the gears (armors and weapons), I am not sure because the gear providing system is settled as it is by now. If we change it I am quiet sure because it will bring other side effects and other users will complain about it too. But I will check and trying to find alternative way to solve it.

    3. I`ll try explain a bit - hard part for JC 3 is getting Doggebi Lord horn and Emmogi scale - because this boses are killed only few ppl - mostly same all time, dropping mirror 8 is impossible from same reason - only few ppl have chance to kill in d3 f8

    3. please finish archer update - GodOfBow in specially need an upgrade (probably other classes need adjustments but i`m GOB and i speak for myself)
    4. Remove stun skill from Dungeon 6 - then more players can play there (atm unless you are high general u cant lure there)
    5. Add more events because game i getting boring when all u do is farming
    6. Continue to have an active relation with players -please listen what we say because we know the problems we find in game

    2. removing stunners from D6 give an chance for IG to be able to lure mobs - for the moment only generals are able to lure there and most of them don't want it. More people will be able to play there and maybe more chances for high lvl weapons and armors

    1. Just by speaking about IG, I would the happy if every IG would have the same grade of Life Absorption. Actually you can only learn it to g3, but older chars learned it to g4 already.
      That is really unfair because it is a big difference in damage (8k to 10k with comparable bow and stuff). How about fixing with issue?

    I have a question about new Boss monster in Tower of Devah. How much experience is he going to give? Is he going to be like F10 Bosses? Will it be a huge step so the gap between players level will be lower? Assuming Nirvana system refers to level 90 or higher players, please tell me how 80-85 level people who are not using macro programs to level up their characters are going to do that? Majority of Hanin’s server players got their high level thanks to the external software which records and then repeats your gameplay. Programs like that allow you to run automatic parties. You don’t basically need to be active in terms of actual playing (I mean sitting in front of PC) to level up your account successfully. For people who are not using such software it is very hard to pass 85 level, for most of them it is even impossible, because most of the community are casual players who cannot spend all the day playing the game. The fact that game masters are ignoring macro playing problem KalOnline now looks like that. It is a reason why many people decided to quit the game. They couldn’t catch up people who were leveling few times faster and they didn’t even spend that time actively playing. Level balance in PvP is also very bad, I mean the difference between players it brings is too huge. If you decide to introduce Nivrana for 90+ players, will balance affect level 1-89 players too? Tell me please how you see it, because in the past we did get many promises. We want exactly know what are you planning to do. Right now your answers are like “Nirvana system will solve all the problems”. I don’t think it can be so easily done.

    1. Today I was on Hanin (60 level EA) out of curiosity. I went to D3 F3/F4/F5. First view? Nobody played here. Same was in the forest (Masks). I didn't see new players. Ok, I tried kill some monsters (red/purple) and what? For one monster I got 0.05%. What does it mean? 10 seconds to kill one monster. 1 minute to kill 6 monsters. 6*0.05=0.3%. 3 minutes to get 1%. 100%=5h. Needs 10 bars. 5h*10=50h. We need play 2 days nonstop!!! I never achieve 85 level for Nirvana System. Next update for players on ranking. This game never pick up, if you create new things for high level players.

    1 more question about Nirvana System... i seen from picture that effects are awsome but i wonder if u will change Kalonline graphic system , because i think the actual one cant support such effects. like u said Kalonline is an 10 years old game and the graphics and effect didn't change much, so will u chance the graphic engine and the start up engine (engine.exe) who give allot of errors - all players had at least 1 time problem with engine.exe error.

    so question is : will u change graphic engine during Nirvana System?

    1. your engine.exe errors are caused by your PC i suggest you check out what your running on and during BIG boss fights or highly populated areas you dropped your graphics to low settings. hopefully this helps you.

    i will speak about IGs not overpower one with full G 70 and bow G 75 , we need to do party increase the VA skill range so we can tank like GOB and asc and make the VA damage count when another IG uses it cuz two Ig cant do damge by VA at same time , another thing AE cant cast at same time by 2 IG, one last thig increase ontarget of La at mops so Ig can hit bears and HL good and Increase AE 2nd damage at mops & duels & la damge at duels thanks

    As you mentioned before your plan is to make thing better with Nirvana instead of trying to balance old things.
    I think thats wonderful and it sounds like Nirvana will shred new light over Kal.
    But here is the important stuff.

    Do not forget that many people on Global Server will not reach level 90.
    That will just not happen, so if you set the bar to high to enter Nirvana like for exampel lvl 95+ on Korean server.
    Then you will instead see a massive quitstorm from some of the people who just gives up.

    When you first presented Nirvana i was amazed. Was such happy surprised. But the first thing that came to my mind was.
    Wonder what level limit they will but.
    Let me explain who the avarage lvl 80-90 kalplayer is in kal.
    It's a person who today is between 20-50 and have his/her own family and not alot of time for PVE.
    So here you got the players who have followed you faithfuly side by side for many many years.
    They are under level 90 and will prob never reach level 90.

    I noticed this when 3rd Jobchance was realeased in kal. Many of my oldschool kalplayers around lvl 61 which they had worked for for around 2-3 years just gave up. So do not forget that in order to make Nirvana as epic and awesome as it can get, it should not let shadows fall on the people who love and follow you for so many years.

    If you want the game to glow dont set the level entrance to high, that will be a shot in the foot :P.
    Im not saying this to be scared i wont reach it. Im a nerd myself and level quiet alot. But many of my kalfriends dont got that time to level to much. So thats just a tip for you and your whole staff to make Nirvana amazing for the oldschoolers that will also i garantuee bring back those who once stopped believe in kal. Bring back more players for you.
    I know many of my old quitting kalbuddies asking alot about Nirvana. People around lvl 80-88.
    So if you make the level limit around 85 trust me you will get alot happier response than level 90 for exampel.

    As for Korean server all who are lvl 95+ on korean server have 3 or more people sharing the character which means it levels 24/7 without any breaks :P and thats not possible for a normal player either.
    Apart from that i cant say more than im looking forward for this update :) gogo more!

    level 85 would be perfect. its not easy to reach (i mean, by playing. leechers can get to 87+ insanely fast, an on gsm even 90 isnt a problem..but only very few ppl got access to it. and the distance between players and macro setters increase..) yet still in range for many ppl. setting it at 90 or higher would push more players to quit.
    an beside jobchange and all. we need increase in droprate of g65 armors and g75 weapons. they were released soo long ago, yet their prices are still our of range for normal players. reason? super low droprate. i killed mautareta quite a few times, but all we got were hearts for accesories and mixing stones. master elements in tower of priest or monsters in hondel also got super low droprate, and g65 chests/shorts prices are out of mind, when you look at date of their introduction. same with g70 side parts. many 80+ players run in g60 armors with g70 weapons, because there's simply no g65/70 armors or g75/80 weapona available for them to buy. and if any appear, rich ppl just buy them for insane money for their alts they barely use (mainly to not let others get it)

    Excuse me, but it's going to be much text, I hope you will read it and answer me again. :-)
    Q1: Will the name of the class change? (Expert Archer to God Of Bow for example)
    Q2: How powerful will it be? Like 50.000-500.000 Damage? How would you define it?
    Q3: Will there be any new areas with new monsters which can be killed 1by1 alone or in party? Which can be lured alone or in party?
    Q4: Will there be a EXP push up?
    Q5: I had noticed that we can have 5 Character per account now. Does this mean that there will be a 5th character or does it stand in any relation to the nirvana?
    Ok, now here comes the advice I wanted to give you.
    1) Don't do the level of Nirvana to high. I'm currently lvl 79 and I needed half a year from 73 to 79 (over 22.000.000.000 EXP points. I dont leech so it means I'm not doing much more then 30% per mal Session. (30% = 153.395.978,49 EXP)
    Only level 84 already needs 31.810.068.850 EXP points so you can imagine how long I would take to 85.
    2) Let the quests begin at lvl 75 and finish the Job Chance at level 80. This sounds easy but you also need to think about the players that does not leech many hours per day or player's that can't join a bears party just like that.
    3) You can Do the Job chance from level 80 and let it upgrade in steps (you don't have all 3rd job skills training completed at level 70) you need to go for those skills. That's what would make the game more interesting. Let's say that you can get a new skill every 5 levels (80-95 that means 4 skills and you can expand it anyways) it would be way more interesting to play level 80-xxx with a new skill every 5 level + an upgrade of the existing skills.
    4) Don't make the new skills "Skillable" like the already existing ones. Im 79 and I skilled EVERYTHING Necessary (I have 4 skill points left, that's good. Common Ascetic has 0 points at the exact same condition)
    5) Total new way of getting skills. It means "Absolut Secret Skill" so a new way of getting skills would be cool.
    My idea is the following: First skill level is free (like Mystery skills) for upcoming skill level the skill needs to train (Example: Grade 1, 0/10.000 EXP) Anytime you kill a mo ster or you use the skill, the skill will recieve EXP (This might do it more interesting as well)
    5.1) Besides that you could create a new way to upgrade skills (ALL skills not only new ones and regardless of the class or the level of the character, EVERYONE should be able to do it. It will also make the game more interesting.). Any time you use the skill it will recieve some EXP, maximum skill level is 100. (Example: Chain Lightning Grade 1, level 5 0/608.050 EXP) increasing THE LEVEL of a skill should be more difficult then increasing THE SKILL GRADE of Nirvana skills. As I already had said, this should be available for ALL character in ALL levels or class.
    That's it. I REALLY hope that this opinion can help you with tbe new Nirvana System!

    As a returning player i welcome this update, how ever it doesn't cater for the lower levels, i understand nirvana is for the higher player base but with new monster coming on to the server and as what you have stated in a previous post as new monsters come the older ones decrease, how will "new players" join the game? how will they level fast? no mobs= less exp = no interest for new players

    Is it possible to adjust the exp levels between 1-70 to speed up game play? help out the new players.

    adjust exp levels from 1-70 to begin with. hopefully it will bring back the 3000 players which are occupying on "stolen" private servers

    I believe we all feel like the management of Inixsoft is completely out of touch with their own game including the community. Most of us are very willing to provide you with the feedback you need and send our suggestions in, as most of the earlier post proofs. I myself have done this countless times through the c/s system.
    The problem is we always receive the pre-made reply "We'll send your suggestions to the right department." and never heard anything about it anymore. I have never received any indication that the feedback was even read.

    It would be nice if you could give us a inside look of the suggestion list you have considered and how you progress them. I feel like the language barrier already creates a huge bridge between the management and the community. It definitely doesn't help that we never receive any direct output towards the community. I feel like Inixsoft has to become more transparent and have the community be known they are heard and don't just fall on deaf ears.

    I know this has nothing to do with the upcoming update in particular but I feel like this is the only forum at the moment to get anything across.

    That said, I think the upcoming update and in particular this blog are a huge step in the right direction.

    First of all I want to say that this comment won't include anything about Nirvana-System (sorry, but what comes now needs get talked about)
    There was a guy up here in the comments, asking you, why lower lvl mobs got deleted and your answer was pretty legit and just the truth. Kal is an old game with a selfmade engine who cannot hold as much as intended ;-)
    So here is my first question: Where is the development on the engine, or why don't you just get in contact with other companys for a better engine?
    Why am I asking this? Here we go:
    Once, after my Account got blocked (for illegal geons, I never had) I took a break, since it was impossible to get it back through the "auto-answering-C/S-System".
    After a couple years of knowledge on privat servers I decided to make a new account, prolly to say Hi to my old friends, who didn't quit playing Kal yet.
    So when I did that, I also decided, to level this new account whenever I'm motivated to. First problem: Equipment.
    Solved due to my friends, who gave me a set of armor and a weapon. I also heard that the whole community tries to help new players with G42 Armors and G40 weapons, which is great, because else those few new people would quit playing, even before they are getting to the next problems.
    So what you usually do next is porting to "Temp" and get our of the main gate to get in contact with some Demon Water Dragon Predators. But you kinda just get in contact with the first bots (at least 3 at this spot!) So all you can do is going to a worse spot with worse exp and worse respawns. Anyway I did that aswell as I did my quest (and there you improved alot, since they are really easy and fast now - thx for that).
    So once you reach lvl 30-35 it's clear what to do: Dungeon 1!
    Getting into Dungeon 1 was the worst idea I had tho... Closed rooms and the opened once are overflooded with "overground-Imperial-Commander-Bots" *sad face*
    So here we go again: Let's go to a worse spot with less exp and less respawn, let's go to the "doggeby-beach".
    Once I arrived there, I wondered where all the mobs were.. did someone lure them? - After 5 minutes of waiting I was sure: I must be wrong. So I whispered one of my old friends and asked what happened to the doggeby-beach. And the answer was pretty clear: It's gone.
    Here we go with the 2nd question: Where should I go now, as a lower lvl, when it feels like it is impossible to lvl?
    Behind all that we get into one of the MAJOR problems of Kalonline since a couple years now: Bots.
    I guess the problem that those bots cause are totally clear, so let's talk about some new facts.
    Once - when Andrea Oh was still working for Inixsoft and was leading the facebook page - he asked on facebook for someone who can get him this bot, people are using.
    So I had a friend, who had this bot and was willing to give it to me to stop those bots in Kal. So I tried to contact Andrea Oh... via the comments on facebook, via private msg to his private facebook account, also tried to contact anyone from kalonline via the C/S System.. In the end without any result and any answer, which was pretty sad since I could have given you the bot plus my idea on fixing that major issue.
    I kinda gave it up. Even tho I still love Kalonline.
    So what is the main intention of my comment? It's simple: The contact between you guys and the community is pretty much the worse of any game I ever played. And this MUST be fixed.
    Once you fix that, many other issues get fixed aswell. And let's be honest:
    Q: What is inixsoft without the community?
    A: Nothing - the game would die!
    Q: What happens to you guys if there are no new players and the old players are quitting more and more?
    A: Inixsoft won't be able to pay you your monthly money -> you get jobless -> home and food must still get payed.
    When I saw Kalonline making a facebook page, I thought: "this will be the change!" - I was wrong. Let's see what happens now, after you opened a Blog. ;-)

    1. PS: There is an interview with a guy from Hanin called zuO from a couple years ago. His wish to Kal was:
      "I wish there would be active GMs ingame and a better communication between the players and the GMs. Involving the players more in ideas / decisions of the game, fixing some bugs and increasing the security. The new updates are (mostly all) nice, but you shouldn't forget other important points."

      ;-) *just saying*
      PPS: Maybe think about getting some Ingame-Supporters, which can be normal players, but who help other with ingame questions, take an eye on hackers and bots aswell as picking up the good suggestions to imporve the game.

    maybe give people the choice to make there account boy or female.

    many guilds have guild spots so why not let them build a special place where do can meet as guild or do fun stuff xD

    I am sorry but I cannot lie.
    Nirvana system is for the characters with certain levels.
    But, high level contents means it is for all players.
    If we develop some contents for users in lvl 20s then can you enjoy it?
    Also, we are planning to expedite the leveling for the low leveled users also.
    By the way, Nirvana system will not influence third job change at this moment.

      LVL 85 would be most comftable for Nirvana

      There not even 50 ppl on Hanin LVL 90+ and I guess like 300 are 85+.

      It's allredy very hard step from 85-90 with actual gaming system, so if Nirvana would be for 90+ only, the differences will be much bigger again and people will split up very fast.

    I would say lvl 85 is a good level to start nirvana,
    Its about same if u would say lvl 90 on Korean server.
    Then its not only for about 50players you will make something compleetly new.

    Alot of players in hanin will never reach lvl 90 untill they have a boost again with lvl's like you have on D5F10
    Lvl 85 will attract more players again who are now quiting ore have quited to start again because there are alot of players who are just level 80-85 who quited because of lac of intrest in the game because leveling became nonsense.
    Also because for new players its harder to reach from level 1-60 then it is to get from level 60-85.

    If u decide to bring in something like D5F10 then to become lvl 90 much easier then i would say lvl 90 is the appropriate level.

      I can only confirm 85-90 are the leves where most people loose motivation because it's very hard to make EXP.

    I hope that you will balance the different characters with the Nirvana System.
    I am playing a level 84 God of Bow with full g65 bof and g70 high pimped bow but the problem is that God of Bow isnt the high damage and high evasion character it was intended to be.
    In PVP it is very hard for a God of Bow to kill anyone because most character got too much on target point and high damage skills... and it is nearly not possible to get enough evasion as a GoB. Also it is not even possible to kill a boss field in forrest of elements xD
    Thats why most of the God of Bow players quitted their characters.

    Here is a list of what needs to be done to make God of Bow a nice character to play again:
    1. Increase Arrow Rain damage
    2. Add OTP to Focus Shot and increase damage in PVP/PVE (with my g62 honor bow i do like 1,5k non crit and 6k crit damage. with my g70 imp +16 violent bow i do like 2k non crit and 7k crit damage, this is ridiculous xD)
    3. Increase continuous damage of Mysterious Arrow and Poison Arrow
    4. Increase damage of Staggering Blow, Heart Breaker and Blow Up Arrow
    5. Emergency Escape skill needs to be like it was before the last Skill Update. Stun, Hypno, Curses shouldnt work while EE is active
    6. Add a skill like Imperial Generals Shrewdness that gives God of Bow the chance to get more evasion
    7. Increase effects of Chance Capture, Muscle Solidation (+5 minimal attack? come on, thats crap :D)

    Hope you can save the last God of Bows :D

    Its quite simple actually why kalonline isnt a dead game YET.
    It hasnt been played out nobody has ever achieved lvl 99 so far, there are a select group of people getting very close that true.
    Any other game i can think of has been played out, even out Maxed in armors etc...
    And because most of the players are players from when the game was released there are alot of people returning and quiting and returning.
    But most people just want to return to a game that has more pvp balance, and lvl balance.
    Getting from lvl 1-70 is harder than to get from lvl 70-80 wich is definitly not compared in playing time etc. If u dont have acces to D5F10 ur done for it. so that needs some drastic changed for new players.
    graphic's could get better but ok it not the graphic's alone that needs a change.
    change lvl balance and pvp balance and PVE a bit and there will be alot more people playing again.
    Wich means more KC use wich means more $$$$$$ for u dev's and gm's.
    if u compare now: 1 lvl 91 with a bit of skill's exept archers, can easely kill 10 characters between lvl 85-89 that are hunting the lvl 91 togheter so 1 vs 10 at once and the lvl 91 still wins, where is the balance, to far to find any if u ask me.

  45. there will be some change to 3rd job and quest to open vod ?? today it is impossible to do the job with the values of the items very high ... and impossible to be able to do alone ... especially get the essences to open vod because there is a part of generals 85+ precluding other players pick up this item ..

  46. Dear GM , i think GOB ( God Of Bow ) need really really update without NIRVANA system. W H Y????? Gos CAN kill solo giants and ifrits ... DS can do it solo so easy.... Arrow Rain need to be more strongest too... like Spin Slash and also in PVP need more dmg....idk.... EA/GOB is useless in my opinion and i talk cuz i have GOB level 80 full g60 + imperial g70 bow and is not pretty cool when i dueling and can't try to train solo THANKS

    we can see it on 2015/10/01

    If u like to make kal enjoyable , fix this list.

    we need to ban all players which destroying the game.
    here a little very imporantent list :

    DoubleRainbow - selling created g70/75 gear thought database back
    SplashyFlip - is lvled by one hit hacker @ d6 (played by DoubleRainbow)
    AngleSword - use another one hit hack @ d6 and selling lvled chars and dropped geons/equipment for real money.
    Rammeloschie - selling equipment for real money (created stuff) he used a database leak !
    HerzParasit - same like Rammeloschie - he use some TreasurBox leaks to creating Stuff to sell it for real money.


    Kalonline got a huge leak @ database which is important to fix now.

    The hacker wait all time for the weekend , becource there is no GM online
    which can be stop this...

    Kalonline will be dead soon , if u dont fix it ,
    and block this players and make a new database !

    1. I wonder where you get this "insider" information from but that "treasure box leak" is non existent. HerzParasit's gear was gathered over longer than a year time. "AngleSword" (if you type it, do it right) does an average of 30% a day and has the exact same party running as yours, along with DoubleRainbow and SplashyFlip.

      Oh and a reminder, SplashyFlip's side parts were the ones Icicle2Win was selling - created through the good ol' mining system. Again, at theorycrafting you're a king but don't call it insider information if you got no clue about the facts at all.

    I'm no insider on everything, but from what I know DoubleRainbow and SplashyFlip mainly have created gear indeed. THROUGH THE MINING SYSTEM LOL!!! And why do you keep hinting about them using one hit hacks? You visit them on a daily basis where they have a party running simulair to your own party. At least they pay their bills and are not cheating inixsoft with illegal money transactions like you do.

  49. I have been reading up on some security stuff and asked a security expert and that gave me this:

    Always expect your database to be hacked!
    Some tips for making your users more secure
    1. Only allow users to login after they wend to https
    2. Salt pw's in DB

    While users are on the http:// part of your webiste, usernames and passwords are send in plain text or clientside encrypted. Clientside encryption is no substitute for https!!

    2. Salt pw's in DB
    Generate two Salts. One unique Salt using CSPRNG (Cryptographically Secure Pseudo-Random Number Generator) to be stored in the user DB and one generic Salt stored in a file on the DB server. Most DB hacks are done with SQL-injection and that shouldn't give acces to the filesystem.

    a) Storing a password
    - Generate a long Salt using a CSPRNG
    - Prepend the Salt and the generic Salt to the password and hash it with a standard cryptographic hash function such as SHA256
    - Save the hash and the CSPRING'd Salt to the user DB

    b) Validation of the password
    - Retrieve the user's hash and salt from the database and the generic salt from the file
    - Prepend both salts to the given password and hash it
    - Compare the calculated hash with the stored user's hash. Match means password is correct.

    All this will still allow a hacker to change someone's password or hack into someone's account, BUT this would require making update queries and that will show in logs. Decrypting, bruteforcing, etc will be virtual impossible on a downloaded user table with the hashed passwords stored like this.
